Governmental Affairs Committee

Join us Thursday, April 24 at 8:30 AM in the Chamber Board Room to hear from Dave Eggers, current Pinellas County Commissioner and former Dunedin Mayor.

Commissioner Eggers was elected to the Pinellas County Commission in 2014 and re-elected in 2018 and 2022. His work focuses on transparency, fiscal accountability, economic development, transportation, water management, affordable housing, and environmental needs. During his time as Dunedin’s Mayor and City Commissioner, he launched community initiatives like the Youth Advisory Council and helped establish Purple Heart recognition for the city and county.

The Governmental Affairs Committee is made up of Chamber members who care about local policy and advocacy. Members help shape the Chamber’s Legislative Agenda, host candidate forums and speaker series, and work with the city on key community events.
