Mark specializes in assisting individuals with the buying and selling of various types of businesses. He provides clients with insights into company valuations and various financing options. Having sold his own businesses and personally acquired companies, Mark is dedicated to guiding others through the entire business transition process. Whether it's maximizing a company's sale value to ensure a secure retirement for the owner or helping a buyer meticulously evaluate a potential acquisition, Mark is committed to supporting his clients every step of the way.
He currently operates an office of Murphy Business Sales, one of the largest business brokerage firms in the United States, with locations across 38 states and Canada. The corporation was founded in 1994 and is still headquartered in Clearwater. Along with his extensive business experience, Mark is a Master Certified Negotiation Expert (MCNE) trained at Harvard, and he completed executive training at Wharton.
While most business brokers hold a real estate license, Mark serves as the Qualifying Broker for Murphy Business Sales in five states and previously held Series 7 and 63 Securities licenses. With deep respect for fellow entrepreneurs, Mark aims to be a valuable resource for business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs alike. He's more than willing to share his knowledge about business valuation and the ownership transfer process.
